pk10Pastor Krista Vingelis comes to TLC after serving congregations in the New York City area and in the mountains of south-central Pennsylvania. She holds her Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Theater from George Mason University. She has worked with children and teens both in the arts and in the church for almost 20 years. Pastor Krista loves to hang out with her dogs, watch movies, read books, be involved in the arts, and spend time with family and friends. She is excited to be here to partner with the people of TLC in making God's love known to all through Jesus Christ.
Jan Gibson
Jan Gibson, Worship Director, has been a member of Trinity since the fall of 1988. She began as the adult choir accompanist, with duties gradually increasing to include children's music, SpiritBorn director, worship accompanist, and Worship Director, assisting the Pastor in planning and leading weekly worship. Jan is also a Music Therapist at a local residential treatment facility for developmentally/ intellectually disabled. Jan also enjoys "social networking," playing "Words with Friends," and spending time with her husband Roger, and two sons, Roger and Ryan.

Alice Christianson has been Trinity's Organist since 1998. Besides her interest in music, she is an avid golfer, bridge player, and reader. She and her husband also enjoy traveling, and among their favorite trips now are those to LA and Orange County areas to visit their three grown children and two grandsons, Charlie and Clint.

Brian Nelson

Brian Nelson serves as Trinity's Custodian and has been doing so since 1992. He is a charter member of Trinity, worshiping with us since 1963. Brian's hobbies are woodworking, photography, fishing and shooting at the county shooting range.

Choir Director David Hensley has more than three decades of experience in church music. Not a stranger to Porterville, he has served as Professor of Music and Choral Director at Porterville College since 1994. His undergraduate degree (BA-Music Education) was earned at California State University, Fullerton; his Masters Degree (MM-Choral Studies) at Northern Arizona University, and his doctoral work (DMA, Choral Studies, ABD) from the University of Kentucky. The Hensleys are a musical family. David resides in Porterville with his wife, Tami, who sings in the Sierra Vocal Arts Ensemble, and his grown children (Ben and Katie) are both graduates of Monache HS where they, too, were involved in the choral program.
